I'm not witty or funny, creative or eloquent. My grammar isn't always perfect and I use a lot of run-on sentences. I created this blog to share what I do- care for children.
I've always been told I have a gift and that I don't always do everything that I could with it, so here's my first step into embracing this gift. I thought it would be a good idea to share what I do on a regular basis... which is nanny.
Currently I care for two families part time...
Family Numero Uno: Tuesday only currently. Two boys- ages 2 and 5. C is 2 and is hilariously a goof, he copies EVERYTHING his brother does- even the potty talk, but is incredibly sweet. G is 5 and is SO smart. He loves to create and make inventions- even if it means using up all of the tape and extra cords laying around the house. They both love science projects, making crafts, and we do a lot outside together! We can't wait until the summer!
Family Numero Dos: Mondays and Wednesdays currently. Two boys- ages 4 and 7. This family is very new to me and today was my first day. K is in preschool and loves asking questions! It's so cute to see his mind working after a question is answered and he so quickly thinks of the next well thought out question to clarify anything that still doesn't make sense. T is the 7 year old and already tries to act like he isn't interested in what his brother is doing, but you can tell he's still a kid (obviously). They love to play board games and I can tell they are going to be SO fun! I've never cared for kids as old as them in a nanny setting so it'll definitely be a learning experience!
Now, I want to put this out there upfront that I am not a mother myself and everything I do is based on experience, observation of real mothers, and Pinterest :) If I do something wrong, I'm still learning and you can feel free to correct me or put in your two cents. I know I'm not perfect and I do not try to be. :)
